Yes. At least by saying so, people will start doing good things, is it not?

Probably we will go in heaven and probably not, since we don't know what will happen after our death, but we believe that if we do good and we follow our God, we will be in heaven.

Well doing good things is one of the ways we can go to heaven but it is not limited by that alone

Some of us believed what heaven and what is hell.  Once we believe that Jesus is our saviour and if we walk on with his pathways, pastors believed that they will be in heaven. But, for those sinners who didn't do good in this world will be in hell.
In this world, we living here for temporary and we believed that God exists and he is our saviour and, if we do good things in this world while we are here, we all believe that we will be in heaven. At some point I do believe that if you really a good person you will really be in heaven. Even if you accept God as your saviour but, you are not doing good afterwards, I don't know exactly if you will be heaven.
The most people who are in heaven are those innocent children who died early and believed by their closest family that they are angels sent from above.

Good works are not just enough, our faith and believe plays a big role. Some people do good work but don't believe in the existence of heaven, and it is difficult to experience what you don't believe in.  The Bible always emphasize on faith as a tool for everyone who intends to make heaven.

Yes for me. I do believe in heaven. God will make a way for Him to be with you if He knew that you are a good person. He will let you inside His beautiful paradise because you got the job done and followed His rules while you stay on Earth as His people.

As Christians, we have perceived and experienced God's goodness, accepted Jesus Christ as Lord of our lives, and acted on the Bible’s message regarding salvation. Christ’s payment has purchased eternal life for each of us and has saved us from the impending time of wrath.

And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come. I Thessalonians 1:10

Along with this knowledge and surety comes the responsibility of recognizing it as a true reality and adapting our living accordingly.

As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. Colossians 2:6-7

In becoming “rooted” in God’s Word, we are not shaken by the doubts of people around us but are examples of believers with the Word living in us. We have become a new person in Christ, and those around us can now believe and live the same way. In genuinely transforming our lives, we may find that we are gaining new friends and are in greater harmony with God’s purposes.

Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. I Timothy 2:4

We are now involved in bringing the knowledge of God’s Word to our fellow man and in seeing God’s desires come to pass in miraculous ways.

It was like Santa Claus that we need to be good to have gifts from him. It also applies to God's 10 Commandments that we need to obey and follow, so that we can go to heaven.

No, doing good things will not automatically guarantee you a place in heaven when you die. Heaven is ultimately up to God to decide.

There is no evidence to support the claim that doing good things will make one go to heaven when one dies. There is no evidence to support the claim that doing good things will make us happy.

Even when you are Just spiritual, without any sort of rules to go by and you believe in the afterlife, you'll know within you that you need to do good. Even when you don't believe, it is a human inclination to do good. Whether heaven is a place or a feeling inside you, doing good wil definitely take you there. Being good is never out of style.

The belief that good deeds assure a place in Heaven varies among different religious and philosophical traditions. Here are some perspectives:

1. **Christianity:** In Christian theology, salvation is often understood as a result of faith in Jesus Christ and the grace of God rather than solely good deeds. While good deeds and moral living are important, many Christian denominations emphasize that salvation comes through faith in Christ's atonement for sins. This faith should lead to a life marked by good deeds, but the assurance of Heaven is ultimately based on faith and God's grace.

2. **Islam:** In Islam, good deeds play a significant role in the afterlife. A person's deeds, both good and bad, are weighed on the Day of Judgment. While faith is essential, good deeds and following God's guidance are emphasized as the means to earn a place in Paradise (Heaven). However, it is ultimately up to God's mercy and judgment.

3. **Hinduism and Buddhism:** In these belief systems, the concept of karma is central. Good deeds are believed to result in positive karma, which can lead to a better rebirth or liberation from the cycle of rebirth, depending on the tradition. While good deeds are important, there are other factors that influence one's fate.

In summary, the role of good deeds in assuring a place in Heaven or a positive afterlife varies among different religions. It's important to consult specific religious teachings and beliefs within a particular tradition to understand the relationship between faith, good deeds, and the afterlife. Additionally, beliefs can vary within denominations or schools of thought within a given religion.
