As a man I like to be on my own. There is nothing like having a key to your own place and coming home to rest and relax. Knowing this I still like to have my girl stay with me at times. I consider her family but she is part of my immediate family as opposed to me being part of my family line and living in someone else's home.

Many married men may not want to live with their family due to a lack of personal privacy and space. They might want more freedom to make their own decisions and be able to enjoy the company of their spouse without interruption. It is also possible that they simply prefer to live in a different city than their family.

But for both single people and those who are coupled up, being stuck at mum and dad’s can make finding, or maintaining, a relationship difficult.

Everyone has different preferences when it comes to living arrangements. Some men may not be as comfortable living with their families, especially if there are negative dynamics present. On the other hand, some men may find living with their family to be the ideal living situation. Ultimately, the decision to live with one's family or not is up to the individual.

A man maybe afraid of responsibility and adulthood that he may not do what he love and probably won't be free to do his vices and hobbies anymore. That is one reason men leave their partner and most single parents are mothers.

A lot of men who are so engaged in business or work that requires them traveling outside the location of their family could be affected by this lifestyle. Outside this I see no reason a man won't be close to his family outside work or business.
