Agree with you. Also about infants and kid , they end spending most of there time sleeping. Biological factors lead them to sleep from 16 hours (infants) to 10 hours (3-4 year old).

For comfortable sleep 8 Hours is maximum required. For a hard working person there may be required 9 hours. For 1-2 year child 15-16 hours per day sleep required.
