It can be difficult to move on from a relationship that you had for a long time. One way to try to make the process easier is to focus on self care, such as engaging in activities that you enjoy, spending time with supportive friends and family, and seeking out support from a therapist or counselor if needed. It may also be helpful to try to reframe your thoughts about the relationship and allow yourself to feel and process your emotions.

While you may still feel sad about the end of the relationship, believe you are moving on, whether this is true or not. Each time a thought of your ex-boyfriend enters your mind, whisk it away and tell yourself, “I’m moving on.”

Ending a relationship, especially one that has lasted for a long time, can be difficult and emotional. Here are a few things that might help you move on more easily:

Take time to process your feelings: It's important to allow yourself time to grieve the loss of the relationship and to work through any strong emotions you may be feeling.

Cut off contact: If possible, it might be helpful to take a break from seeing or talking to your ex-partner for a while. This can give you both space to heal and move on.

Surround yourself with supportive people: Lean on your friends and loved ones for emotional support during this difficult time.

Engage in self-care: Take care of yourself physically and emotionally by getting enough sleep, eating well, and doing activities that bring you joy and relaxation.

Seek professional help: If you are finding it difficult to cope with the end of the relationship, consider seeking the help of a mental health professional. They can provide you with tools and techniques to help you work through your emotions and move forward.

It's also important to keep in mind that moving on from a relationship can take time, and it's okay to take things at your own pace. It's natural to have ups and downs as you adjust to being single again, but with time and self-care, you will be able to move on and start a new chapter in your life.

Moving on from a relationship can be difficult, but the best way is to focus on yourself. Spend time doing things that make you happy and use the time away from your partner to focus on self-care. Additionally, it may be beneficial to try to find a new hobby or activity that you can engage in. Finally, try to spend time with friends and family to distract yourself and find comfort in their presence.

I usually give this kind of advice to my broken hearted friends. I move on by doing fun things by myself. Before you find another one is find yourself first that is lost due to your deep feeling for that partner. Don't rush things and let that break up be a lesson to you.

We actually have different ways of moving on but in my case I suggest it would be better if we'll assess first of the reason behind the break up and accept it. Once we're able to accept it then it won't be hard for us to get over with it. Another thing is to think positively, come on , as what the song of Westlife says, "there's more fishes in the sea" so cheer up.
