It depends on how you view sex and your brains perception of the sexual desire. If you train yourself (or sometimes it even comes naturally) to not think about sex, you go about your day just fine no distractions. But if you or you brain is constantly thinking about sex then this may affect you negatively because you view it as a natural and essential part of your life so it can be hard to cope sometimes.
