I think it is part of our subconscious to make initial judgments based on appearance, it is linked to our struggle to survive during all these centuries, stay away from those who look bad as they may harm us is the idea. In fact, we all believe that appearance says a lot about a person but I think it takes a lot more to truly know a person.
It is human nature to form initial impressions of people based on their physical appearance, as this is the first information we receive about them. However, it is important to recognize that these initial impressions may not always be accurate and that it is not fair to judge a person solely on the way they look.
Research has shown that people tend to make judgments about others based on physical attractiveness, race, gender, and other factors that have little to do with a person's actual character, abilities, or personality. These judgments can lead to stereotypes and prejudice, which can be harmful and unfair.
It is important to try to look beyond a person's physical appearance and get to know them as an individual before making any judgments or assumptions. This can help to foster empathy, understanding, and appreciation for people's unique qualities and experiences.
