The most poisonous animal in the world is the golden poison dart frog. These frogs are found in the rainforest of Colombia, and their bright yellow and orange color is a warning signal to potential predators. Despite its a small size, the golden poison dart frog contains enought poison to kill up to ten people. The poison comes from the small amount of toxins that the frog secretes from its skin, wich is so potent that it can be used to poison the tips of arrows and darts used for hunting

The golden poison dart frog is the world's most lethal mammal. These Colombian rainforest frogs have brilliant yellow and orange coloring that serves as a warning to any possible predators. Despite its diminutive size, the golden poison dart frog can kill up to ten humans with its poison. The frog secretes tiny amounts of poisons from its skin, yet they are so effective that they can be used to poison the tips of hunting arrows and darts.

The most poisonous animal is the box jellyfish (Chironex fleckeri), which is found in the waters of the Pacific and Indian Oceans, particularly off the coasts of Australia and Thailand. The box jellyfish is considered the most venomous animal in the world because its tentacles contain potent toxins that can cause cardiac arrest, respiratory failure, and death within minutes of being stung.

don't know about the most poison by quantity as my choice is rather quite small.

It turns out most creatures with poison are relatively small. Nothing the size of a medium mammal or the like.

But by pure lethality, and percentage of quantity I will go with poison dart frog. An absolute terror. Natives used to scrape just a little bit, and kill people will arrows. The poisons lethality is so overkill it's ridiculous.

And to be clear here we are talking about poison, and not venom. If you don't know the difference please look it up. I'm sure you can find some on Quora if you can't find it on Google.

The blue -ringed octopodes (hapalochlaena app)produce tetrodotoxin, which is extremely toxic to even the healthiest adult humans though the number of actual fatalities they have caused is far lower than the number caused by spiders and snakes with which human contact is more common

The title of "most poisonous animal" can vary depending on whether you're referring to the toxicity of an animal's venom or the danger it poses to humans. Here are a few contenders:

1. Box Jellyfish: The box jellyfish, found in the waters of the Indo-Pacific region, is often considered one of the most venomous creatures. Its tentacles contain potent toxins that can be deadly to humans.

2. Inland Taipan Snake: This snake, also known as the "fierce snake" or "small-scaled snake," has the most toxic venom of any snake, but it is very reclusive and rarely encountered.

3. Cone Snail: Certain species of cone snails have extremely potent venom. When they sting, it can be fatal to humans, but such incidents are rare.

4. Stonefish: Found in the Indo-Pacific region, stonefish are the most venomous fish in the world. Their spines can deliver a painful and potentially lethal sting.

It's important to note that while these animals may have highly toxic venoms, fatalities from their encounters with humans are relatively infrequent, thanks to prompt medical treatment and precautions. The concept of "most poisonous" can also vary based on the criteria used, such as LD50 (lethal dose for 50% of test subjects) or the severity of symptoms caused by their venom.
