I have horrible handwriting too

What I do is I write slowly. I tend to write too fast and it gets sloppy so that is one thing I would recommend.

Another tip would be to find a calligraphy or penmanship textbook and go through the exercises as those lessons are designed to teach you how to write properly. You can many online if you do a google search.

Start writing 1 or 2 pages dia slowly, and copy the characters of people having good handwriting around you. I improved mine also with the same process, copied words or characters from different people, whichever i liked from whomever, n slowly 2 its improved. A child can take more time, but an elder can improve within a week

Make sure that your hand is not shaking. Try to practice writing legibly by writing the right speed and the strokes are understandable as if you're just starting to write. If you prefer writing in the script to make your letter more clear.

If I may say the best way for a person to be able to change his handwriting is by looking that of others and then trying to make his own just the way that person's own is.

Here are some tips on how to improve your handwriting:

* **Use the right tools.** A good pen or pencil can make a big difference in the quality of your handwriting. Choose a pen or pencil that is comfortable to hold and that produces a smooth line. You may also want to experiment with different types of paper to find one that you like to write on.

* **Pay attention to your posture.** When you sit up straight with your feet flat on the floor, your arms and hands are in a better position for writing. Avoid hunching over or slouching, as this can lead to messy handwriting.

* **Slow down.** If you write too quickly, your handwriting is more likely to be sloppy. Take your time and focus on forming each letter carefully.

* **Practice regularly.** The more you write, the better your handwriting will become. Try to set aside some time each day to practice writing. You can do this by writing in a journal, taking notes in class, or simply writing out words and sentences on a piece of paper.

Here are some additional tips that may help you improve your handwriting:

* **Use a lined notebook.** This will help you to keep your letters evenly spaced and aligned.

* **Use the correct pencil grip.** Hold the pencil between your thumb and index finger, with your middle finger supporting the pencil below. Avoid gripping the pencil too tightly, as this can lead to fatigue and muscle cramps.

* **Make sure your letters are the same size.** This will make your handwriting look more uniform and neat.

* **Pay attention to the spacing between your letters and words.** Too much or too little space can make your handwriting look messy.

* **Don't worry about making mistakes.** Everyone makes mistakes, even people with good handwriting. Just keep practicing and you will eventually see improvement.

If you are struggling to improve your handwriting on your own, you may want to consider taking a handwriting class or working with a handwriting tutor. There are also many resources available online and in libraries that can help you improve your handwriting.

Improving your handwriting takes time and practice, but it is definitely possible. Just be patient and persistent, and you will see results.
