Though eating an excessive amount of fat and sugars can cause an inflammatory response which can cause acne, there is no direct link or any evidence that eating chocolate will have an impact on the skin or cause acne.

Eating chocolate in moderation is generally considered safe for skin health. However, chocolate may cause breakouts in some people, as it contains sugar and dairy, which can trigger inflammation. Additionally, some people may find that eating too much chocolate causes their skin to become dry and irritated. Therefore, it is important to eat chocolate in moderation and to be aware of any skin reactions.

No, Dark chocolate with at least 70% cocoa content is actually good for your skin, rich in antioxidants and flavanols that can improve blood flow and reduce inflammation. But regular chocolate can be bad for your skin due to its high sugar and dairy content, which can lead to acne, inflammation, and dehydration. But enjoying regular chocolate in small amounts is unlikely to cause significant skin issues.

Chocolate can potentially exacerbate skin issues due to it's high sugar and dairy content leading to increased inflammation and oily production. However  dark chocolate with higher cocoa content  may have  antioxidants  that benefit skin health in moderation.
