How much does a cable television package cost where you live?

Where I am the cost starts at 100 before taxes and you only get a handful of local channels that I probably would not watch anyways.

I live here in India.Here in my Village a normal cable connection costs about 200 indian rupees ( about 3 usd ). It include local life lifestyle channels, local news channels and some movie channels. You know that in India, we have so many languages that is more than 20 languages ,that means in our region three or four states have about five languages.  If want to watch news ,movies etc in those languages  have to increase the amount to above 200 Indian rupees.  Moreover if you want to watch International channels like international news channel CNN IBN and sports channels like sports  18 , Sony live we need an amount of above 400 or 500 Indian rupees ( about 6 usd.).
