Hot weather can cause a range of skin problems such as heat rash, sunburn, etcetra.

here are some tips I follow personally to keep my skin alive:

1. I drink loads of water (like 3 liters per day)

2. apply sunscreen every 4 hours completely to face and hands to avoid tan

3. I drink coconut water, fresh juices like watermelon, orange and sugarcane.

4. Take cool showers twice a day (this step is must during summers)

5. use moisturizers before sunscreen

6. apply fresh aloe vera gel twice a week.

Taking care of your skin in hot weather is important as the heat and sun can cause damage and lead to various skin problems. Here are some tips to help you take care of your skin during hot weather:

Protect your skin from the sun: The sun's harmful UV rays can damage your skin, leading to premature aging, sunburn, and skin cancer. Use a broad-spectrum sunscreen with at least SPF 30, and apply it 15-20 minutes before going out in the sun. Reapply every two hours and after swimming or sweating.

Stay hydrated: Hot weather can cause your skin to become dehydrated, leading to dryness, flakiness, and even sunstroke. Drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated from the inside out.

Wear protective clothing: Covering up with loose-fitting clothing and a wide-brimmed hat can help protect your skin from the sun and keep you cool in hot weather.

Use a gentle cleanser: Sweating in hot weather can cause your skin to become oily and dirty. Use a gentle cleanser to remove dirt and oil without stripping your skin's natural moisture.

Moisturize: Although it may seem counterintuitive, using a lightweight moisturizer can help keep your skin hydrated and prevent it from becoming dry and flaky in hot weather.

Avoid hot showers and baths: Hot showers and baths can strip your skin of its natural oils, leading to dryness and irritation. Use lukewarm water instead and limit your shower time to 10-15 minutes.

Avoid harsh skincare products: Harsh skincare products containing alcohol or fragrances can irritate your skin and make it more susceptible to damage in hot weather. Use gentle products that are specifically designed for your skin type

Use sunscreen: Apply sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30 before you go outside. Reapply every two hours or more frequently if you're swimming or sweating. Stay hydrated: Drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated from the inside out. Aim for at least eight glasses a day. Wear protective clothing: Wear lightweight, loose-fitting clothing that covers your skin to protect it from the sun's harmful rays. Avoid peak sun hours: Try to stay indoors or in the shade during the hottest part of the day (between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.). Use a hat or umbrella: Protect your face and neck from the sun by wearing a wide-brimmed hat or carrying an umbrella. Take cool showers: Take cool showers or baths to help cool down your skin and reduce inflammation. Moisturize: Use a lightweight, oil-free moisturizer to keep your skin hydrated without feeling greasy. Avoid hot water: Avoid taking hot showers or baths, as this can dry out your skin and make it more sensitive to the sun. Avoid harsh products: Avoid using harsh exfoliants or products that contain alcohol, as these can further irritate your skin.

Cleanse gently: Use a gentle cleanser to remove sweat, dirt, and excess oil from your skin. Avoid harsh soaps or cleansers that can strip away natural oils. Rinse with lukewarm water and pat your skin dry with a clean towel.

Moisturize: Use a lightweight, oil-free moisturizer to keep your skin hydrated. Look for products with ingredients like hyaluronic acid or glycerin that attract and lock in moisture. Apply moisturizer after cleansing, both in the morning and evening.

Exfoliate: Regular exfoliation helps remove dead skin cells and keeps your skin fresh. Use a gentle exfoliator or a chemical exfoliant suitable for your skin type. Limit exfoliation to once or twice a week to avoid overdoing it.
