A dark and twisted drama, Surrounding the life of one taxi driver from New York.

It truly was a masterpiece.

A masterpiece that inspired many other movies.

It's truly amazing how the movie could focus on two different things in one solid story.

One being Travis Bickle, The taxi driver.

And the other being New York, and how it's chaotic out there.

The story itself was simple, Yet, That's what makes it so good.

The story is basic but its character study that make it so great . Not a lot of film focuses on the thought and behaviour of character especially when those thoughts happen to be dark.

This is a very good film and one of Martin Scorsese best (Godfellas being my fave). An excellent potrayal from Robert De Niro as Travis Bickle the cabbie and good performances from Jodie Foster as the child prostitute Iris Steensman, Cybill Sheperd, Peter Boyle and Harvey Keitel  as pimp called Sport.

I have not seen the movie Taxi Driver (1976). However, it is widely regarded as a classic of American cinema and is often cited as one of the greatest films ever made. The movie follows the story of a disturbed taxi driver in New York City who becomes increasingly disillusioned with life. It is a dark and disturbing film that explores themes of alienation and loneliness.
