When a player's shot lands exactly on the boundary line, it is called a "line shot" or "on the line." In tennis, if the ball touches any part of the line, it is considered in, and the player is awarded the point. The lines are considered part of the court, so a shot landing on the line is considered a good shot.

The term for when a player's shot lands on the line is "in." When the ball lands on any part of the line, it is considered to be within the boundaries of the court. A ball that lands completely outside of the lines is considered "out."

The term for when a player's shot lands on the line is "in." In tennis, a shot that lands on any part of the line is considered to be in, and is therefore a valid shot. If a shot lands outside the line, it is considered to be out, and results in a point for the opposing player.
