How do I verify my youtube account?

I have tried to verify my youtube account through my phone number, I ave tried the two available options for receiving code, it keep saying can't send code to this phone number. I have tried using other number, same issue, even a number that has been used for another verification. same thing.
Is there anyone that can guide me through or tell me how to  go over this stage, becuase I cant post over 15minutes video for now.

Thank you for your response, I was trying to verifying my youtube for a longer video, so that I can hae access to custom thumbnail and longer video.
Anytime I enter te number, it will say this "There was a problem sending verification code to xxxxxxx. Please enter a different phone".
Seems I am th eonly one in the entire world experiencing this. no body seems complain this stuff, I have tried several phone numbers same thing.
And there is no way to contact youtube support directly.
