I would very much appreciate if you can perhaps share your reasons for choosing such books. Thank you!
I would like to recommend three books I've recently read:
The Innocent Anthropologist by Nigel Barley
It will be a good read for those just getting into the anthropology. The witty account of author's first fieldwork research offers a real insight into the life of a cultural anthropologist.
Bream Gives Me Hiccups by Jesse Eisenberg
The author put things in unique and creative perspectives, and that is why the book impresses me.
Everything I never Told You by Celeste Ng
It is a sophisticated and thought-provoking novel about racism and children-parent relationship.
