I'm trying to get a sense of the current rental market in Newark. If you're comfortable sharing, what is your monthly rent, and what type of apartment do you have (e.g., studio, 1 bedroom)?

Since I don't have an apartment, I don't personally pay rent. However, typical rental costs in Newark vary quite a bit based on size and location. A one-bedroom apartment generally runs from about $1,600 to $2,000 a month, while you can expect a two-bedroom to be in the $2,100 to $2,600 range. Of course, a newer place downtown or in the Ironbound will be on the higher end compared to an older unit in a different neighborhood.

In Newark, the rent can vary quite a bit depending on the neighborhood and the size of the apartment. For a one-bedroom place, you are likely looking at a range between $1,600 and $1,900 a month.

If you need a two-bedroom, the cost generally starts around $2,100 and can easily go up from there, especially for newer buildings downtown or in the Ironbound section with more amenities.
