Donald Trump is a former President of the United States who served from 2017 to 2021. He was known for his unconventional leadership style which often involved the use of Twitter to make announcements, express his opinions, and engage in diplomatic relations with other countries.
One of the countries with which Trump had a tumultuous relationship was North Korea. The North Korean leader during Trump's presidency was Kim Jong-un, and the two leaders traded threats and insults over the internet on several occasions. This included Trump referring to Kim as "Little Rocket Man" and threatening to "totally destroy" North Korea, while Kim responded by calling Trump a "dotard" and warning of "fire and fury". Despite these tensions, the two leaders ultimately met in person in 2018 and 2019 in an attempt to resolve the longstanding conflict between their countries.
