Elvis Presley was a big fan of Captain Marvel Jr., a superhero character that appeared in comic books during the Golden Age of comic books. Elvis had a large collection of comic books, and Captain Marvel Jr. was one of his favorites. Elvis even wore a costume inspired by the character in some of his concerts and performances, such as the one he wore during his famous Aloha from Hawaii performance in 1973.
