The first female wrestler to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame was The Fabulous Moolah (real name Mary Lillian Ellison). She was inducted in the inaugural class in 1995, and is considered one of the pioneers of women's wrestling, having held the Women's Championship for a record-breaking 28 years. Moolah was known for her toughness, skill, and showmanship, and paved the way for future generations of female wrestlers in the WWE.
