The only racehorse to win the Grand National 3 times is Red Rum. Red Rum won the Grand National in 1973, 1974, and 1977.

Red Rum was a British Thoroughbred racehorse that was foaled in 1965. He was trained by Ginger McCain and owned by Noel le Mare. He is widely considered to be one of the greatest racehorses of all time, and was the only horse to ever win the Grand National three times. He also won the Scottish Grand National twice and was the runner-up in the 1977 Cheltenham Gold Cup. Red Rum retired to stud in 1979 and died in 1995. He is buried at the winning post of the Aintree Racecourse, where the Grand National is held.
