Theatre and film are both forms of visual storytelling, but they differ in various aspects. The key differences are:

1- Theatre is a live performance art form, and film is recorded medium

2- Theatre performances typically take place on a stage in a specific location, and in film scenes are shot on various locations.

3- Theatre performances unfold in real- time and require a continuous, uninterrupted performance. In film scenes can be edited, rearranged and manipulated.

The main difference between theatre and film is the way in which the story is presented. Theatre is a live performance where actors perform on a stage in front of an audience. Film is a recorded performance that is presented on a screen. Theatre performances are usually limited to a single location, while films can be seen anywhere. Theatre performances are often interactive and allow the audience to participate, while films are usually passive experiences.

Theatre is place. it is a location. Normally it is provided with chairs where audience can sit and watch the drama, play or any event is performed. We can also say it is big hall with stage/dias.

Whereas Film is recorded video. many films are played in theatre. Film is having certain duration of 30 mins, 1 hour, 2 hours or more etc.

Theatre is alive and three dimensional, with audiences sharing an experience and space with the actors performing while Films don't provide the exact sense of participation and intimacy that live performances have.
