How do birds mate and reproduce?

Birds typically mate in a ritualized display, with the male performing various courtship behaviors to attract a mate. Once mated, the female will lay eggs which both parents help incubate and raise the young until they can fledge and survive on their own. This process varies slightly depending on the species of bird.

Birds mate and reproduce by forming a pair bond between a male and a female. The pair will then build a nest and the female will lay eggs, which the male will then fertilize. The eggs will incubate for a period of time before they hatch, and the parents will then take turns feeding the chicks until they are old enough to leave the nest.
