Predators in the animal kingdom use a variety of strategies to catch their prey. Some predators, like lions and wolves, hunt in groups to increase their chances of capturing prey. Others, like cheetahs and falcons, are solitary hunters that use their speed and agility to chase down prey. Some predators, like snakes and spiders, use ambush tactics, hiding and waiting for prey to come close before striking. Predators may also use a variety of physical adaptations, such as sharp teeth, claws, or venom, to capture and subdue their prey.
