Eagles are generally solitary birds and prefer to hunt alone. However, there are some species of eagles, such as the African fish eagle and the white-bellied sea eagle, that have been known to hunt in pairs or small groups to increase their chances of catching prey. The group may work together to distract or intimidate the prey, making it easier for one or more eagles to make a successful catch.

While some species of eagles may be seen flying in groups, eagles are generally solitary hunters and do not hunt in groups. They rely on their powerful talons and sharp beaks to catch and kill prey, often hunting from a high perch or in a swift, surprise attack.

EAGLES ARE TYPICALLY SOLITARY HUNTERS AND DO NOT COMMONLY HUNT IN GROUPS LIKE SOME OTHER BIRD SPECIES SUCH AS CERTAIN HAWKS. MOST EAGLE SPECIES ARE KNOWN FOR THEIR INDEPENDENT HUNTING BEHAVIOR AND TEND TO RELY ON THEIR OWN SKILLS.
