As of my knowledge up until 2023, the car that holds the record for the highest top speed ever achieved by a production car is the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+. In 2019, it set a record-breaking speed of 304.77 mph (490.48 km/h). It should be noted that records like these are subject to change as new cars are developed and tested.
