Ethiopia has the most UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Africa. As of my knowledge cutoff in September 2021, Ethiopia had nine sites inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. These include the rock-hewn churches of Lalibela, the Simien National Park, the ancient Aksum archaeological site, and the medieval city of Harar Jugol, among others. However, please note that the number of World Heritage Sites may change over time as new sites are added or existing ones are modified.
