Europe is the only continent without a hot desert. While Europe does have arid and semi-arid regions, it lacks the large, expansive hot deserts typically found in other continents like Africa (Sahara Desert), Asia (Arabian Desert, Gobi Desert), Australia (Great Victoria Desert), and North America (Sonoran Desert). Europe's climate is more temperate, and its arid regions, like the Bardenas Reales in Spain, are not classified as true hot deserts. Europe's climate is more influenced by the Atlantic Ocean, which mitigates extreme aridity and leads to a variety of climates across the continent.
