According to a report from SuperData Research, the global market for virtual reality content and hardware totaled $1.2 billion in the first half of the year, up 28% from the same period in 2017. There were strong sales of all major VR headsets, with Sony's PlayStation VR leading the way with 1.6 million units sold. Additionally, the market for VR software was buoyed by the release of several high profile titles, such as Beat Saber and Moss.
