Absolutely yes! But, it must be a chemical peeling... what I mean is a chemical solution must be used to dry out the skin and exfoliate then removes the dead skin cells. Thus, making way for new skin cells to flourish. Also, this treatment improves the skin's appearance and it also helps in making it even in texture.

I must say NO. Why? If you do this, you are just exposing your dermis. The epidermis layer will be removed for this kind of facial treatment.

A chemical peel uses a chemical solution to improve the appearance of your skin. It removes layers of the skin, revealing the more youthful skin underneath and reducing or improving fine lines and wrinkles, acne, scars, uneven skin coloring, and other skin imperfections.

Peeling treatments, also known as chemical peels, can be beneficial for the skin if done correctly and by a trained professional. Chemical peels involve the application of a chemical solution to the skin, which exfoliates the top layer of dead skin cells and promotes the growth of new, healthy skin cells.

The benefits of peeling treatments include:

Improved texture and tone of the skin: Peeling treatments can help reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and age spots, resulting in smoother, more even skin.

Reduced acne and acne scars: Peeling treatments can help unclog pores and reduce the appearance of acne scars.

Improved skin hydration: Peeling treatments can help improve skin hydration levels, making the skin appear plumper and more radiant.

Enhanced absorption of skincare products: By removing the top layer of dead skin cells, peeling treatments can help skincare products penetrate the skin more effectively.

However, it's important to note that chemical peels can be harsh on the skin and can cause irritation, redness, and even scarring if not done correctly. It's crucial to have a trained professional perform the treatment and to follow their post-treatment instructions carefully. Additionally, not everyone is a good candidate for peeling treatments, so it's essential to consult with a dermatologist or skincare professional before undergoing the procedure

Peeling treatments can be good for the skin when done correctly by a professional. They can help exfoliate dead skin cells, unclog pores, and promote cell turnover, resulting in smoother, brighter, and healthier-looking skin. However, it is important to choose the right type of peel and follow the aftercare instructions to avoid any potential risks or complications.

A light chemical peel improves skin texture and tone and lessens the appearance of fine wrinkles. The results are subtle but increase with repeated treatments. If you have a medium chemical peel, treated skin will be noticeably smoother.
