Skill is important for one to survive in the world

In my opinion, it's generally a good idea to learn multiple skills, rather than just focusing on one. Here I am giving you a few reasons why.

(1) Diversify your opportunities, If you only have one skill, you're limiting your potential job opportunities to those that require that specific skill. But if you have multiple skills, you can explore a wider range of career paths and job opportunities. This can be particularly helpful if the job market for your primary skill is competitive or if the demand for that skill decreases in the future.

(2) Adaptability, the world is constantly changing, and job requirements can change quickly too. If you have a variety of skills, you'll be better equipped to adapt to new job requirements and stay employable over the long-term.

(3) Personal growth, learning new skills can be a great way to challenge yourself and develop as a person. It can be rewarding to acquire new knowledge and abilities, and you may discover talents you didn't even know you had.

(4) Synergies between skills, sometimes, having multiple skills can lead to unique synergies that make you particularly valuable in the job market. For example, someone who is both a skilled writer and a graphic designer can produce high-quality materials that someone who only has on of those skills may not be able to.

Overall, there are many good reasons to learn multiple skills. That being said, it's still important to have at least one skill that you are particularly proficient at, as this can help you stand out and excel in your career.

Whether you should focus on learning one skill or multiple skills depends on your personal goals, interests, and circumstances. Here are some reasons to consider both options:

Learning one skill:

Deep expertise: Focusing on one skill allows you to develop deep expertise and mastery in that area, which can be highly valued in the job market and lead to more career opportunities.

Efficiency: If you have limited time or resources, it may be more efficient to focus on one skill and become highly proficient in it, rather than trying to learn many skills at once.

Passion: If you have a particular passion or interest in a specific skill or field, focusing on that skill may bring you more joy and fulfillment.

Learning multiple skills:

Versatility: Learning multiple skills can make you more versatile and adaptable, which can be valuable in a rapidly changing job market.

Cross-disciplinary skills: Some skills are highly transferable across different fields and industries, so learning multiple skills can give you a broader set of skills that can be applied in a variety of contexts.

Balanced skillset: If you're not sure what specific career path you want to pursue, learning multiple skills can help you build a more balanced skillset and keep your options open.

Ultimately, the decision to focus on one skill or multiple skills depends on your goals and interests. It's important to think about what you want to achieve in your career and what skills will help you get there.

How many skills to learn at the same time depends on your ambitions for what you're learning. If your goal is to improve as fast as possible, I recommend focusing on 1–3 skills at a time. And if you choose to work on several skills at the same time, you might want to pick one of the skills as your main priority

It depends on your goals and interests. If you want to become an expert in one particular field, then it makes sense to focus on one skill. However, if you want to become a well-rounded individual with multiple skills, then it can be beneficial to learn several skills. Learning multiple skills can give you a wider range of knowledge and help you become more versatile in the workplace. Additionally, learning multiple skills can help you stay motivated and engaged in the learning process.

Focusing on learning one skill at the time is the best approach if one skill is much more important than the others. If this is your big project and most of your success depends on doing well at this one thing, it's still possible to learn other things at the same time.

for me I will tell you that learning different skills is preferable than learning one because when you learn a lot of skills anywhere you go to you will be able to survive with those skills.
