Magnetization is the process by which a material becomes magnetized. It is the result of the alignment of the magnetic moments of the atoms or molecules in the material in response to an external magnetic field. As an example, when a piece of iron is exposed to a magnetic field, the magnetic moments of the iron atoms become aligned, causing the iron to become magnetized.

the process of magnetizing or the state of being magnetized. Electricity. the magnetic moment per unit volume induced by any external magnetic field: measured in amperes per meter.

Magnetization is the process by which magnetic materials is attracted to a single magnet.

An Example is an experiment using a bar or horse shoe magnet and many nails. The first nail clings to the magnet followed by the second, third, forth until the magnetic force could no longer retain.
