Motion generally refers to the change in position of real object over time with respect to a physical reference point. However, in a broader sense, this term also refers to systems or models along with changes in other properties (status or other attributes other than changes in position or location) belonging to the object, system, or model.
Therefore, the types of motion may be divided into 2 groups: physical motion (change in position relative to a physical reference point/location and time) and state motion (change in status/attributes to a reference point in time).
