The first Disney animated movie to be directed by a woman was "Frozen" directed by Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck. 

Lee became the first female director of a Walt Disney Animation Studios feature film along with Chris Buck. 

The movie "Frozen" was released in 2013 and went on to become a massive critical and commercial success, grossing over $1.2 billion worldwide and winning the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature. 

In 2019, Jennifer Lee also became the Chief Creative Officer of Walt Disney Animation Studios, making her the first woman to hold the position.
