Alastair Cook is a retired cricketer from England. He is considered one of the greatest batsmen in the history of English cricket. He made his debut for the England Cricket team in 2006 and went on to become one of the most successful openers in Test cricket. Cook retired from international cricket in 2018, following a career of 12 years, in which he scored more than 12,000 test runs, including 33 Test centuries.
