In the fourth book of the Harry Potter series, "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire," the Goblet of Fire selects four students to participate in the Triwizard Tournament. Each of the three participating schools (Hogwarts, Beauxbatons, and Durmstrang) is supposed to have one champion representing them. However, due to a series of unexpected events, the Goblet of Fire ends up selecting an additional champion, making a total of four champions in the tournament.
