The first member of BTS was Rap Monster (now known as RM). He was born Kim Nam-joon in 1994 and joined the group in 2010. He is the leader, main rapper, and composer of the group.
Kim Seok-jin, also known by his stage name Jin, was the first member of the South Korean boy band BTS. He was scouted by Big Hit Entertainment in 2010 while studying at the Konkuk University and officially joined the company as a trainee in 2011.
The first member to join BTS, also known as the Bangtan Boys was Kim Namjoon who goes by the stage name RM. He was the first member to be recruited by Big Hit Entertainment and was instrumental in the formation of the group.
