A baby kangaroo is called a joey. Joey's are born after a gestation period of just 33 days and are the size of a jelly bean. They are blind, hairless, and cannot move on their own. They will stay in their mother's pouch for up to nine months before emerging.

A baby kangaroo is called a joey. When born, it is tiny and helpless, and it crawls into its mother's pouch to continue developing. The joey stays in the pouch for several months until it grows enough to venture out on its own. Baby kangaroos are born furless and blind, but within days of birth, they start developing fur, and their eyes start opening after several weeks.

baby kangaroo is called a joey. After being born, joeys typically spend several months developing and growing inside their mother's pouch. During this time, they continue to nurse and receive nourishment from their mother. Once they are old enough, joeys will gradually start to venture out of the pouch and explore their surroundings while still returning to the pouch for safety and nourishment.
