A tennis player must win the Australian Open, the French Open, Wimbledon, the US Open, and an Olympic gold medal in the same calendar year to achieve a "Golden Slam." Winning all four Grand Slam tournaments and a gold medal in tennis at Olympics is considered the pinnacle of tennis achievement, and only a few players have managed to accomplish this rare feat. The first tennis player to achieve a Golden Slam was Steffi Graf in 1988. Other notable tennis players who have won a Golden Slam include Rafael Nadal and Serena Williams.
