John Steinbeck wrote a novel about being east of Eden. The novel, titled "East of Eden", was published in 1952 and is considered to be one of Steinbeck's greatest works. It tells the story of two families in the Salinas Valley of California, and explores themes of good and evil, free will, and morality.
