There were four Greek gods of love- Eros (God of love and desire), Erotes (God of love and fertility), Pothos (God of Passion), and Imeros (God of intense desire).

Among all, Eros was said to be the powerful God of love. He was the son of Aphrodite and had the power to make people fall in love by striking them with his arrows. Eros is depicted as a primordial deity who emerges self-born at the beginning of time and is said to be the fourth God to come into existence.
