Traditionally candy corn are of yellow, orange and white. The three different colors are based on three different flavor like - honey, sugar, butter and vanilla. Black is not the color used to make candy corn. But these candies take on color combinations suited to the time of the year they are slated for consumption. Such as- red, pink and white for Valentine's Day or, green and white for St. Patrick's Day. Again, green and red corn is slated for Christmas treat. It has been remarkably popular in America for over a century.
