School is a term used to refer to primary and secondary education, while college is a term used to refer to tertiary education. School is mandatory for children, while college is voluntary and usually requires a high school diploma or equivalent to attend. Additionally, college typically offers more specialized and advanced courses than those in high school.

The main difference between school and college is the level of education. School typically refers to primary and secondary education, which is generally required for all students up to the age of 18. College typically refers to post-secondary education, which may include undergraduate and graduate degrees. College typically requires more advanced knowledge and skills than school, and is often more expensive.
