Quokkas do not have any specific physical defense mechanisms against predators. Instead, they rely on their speed and agility to escape danger. They can run up to 12 miles per hour and jump up to 3 meters to avoid predators.

Quokkas also have the ability to retreat into thick vegetation or hide in burrows to avoid predators. Additionally, they tend to be active primarily at night, which helps them avoid detection by predators during the day.

However, the biggest threat to quokkas comes from introduced predators such as foxes and feral cats. Efforts are being made to control these predators and protect quokkas in their natural habitats.

Quokkas primarily rely on their agility and ability to escape from predators by fleeing or seeking shelter in dense vegetation. They may also use their sharp claws and teeth as a last resort to defend themselves if cornered.

Quokkas don't have many natural predators, but they protect themselves by hiding in dense vegetation or climbing trees when threatened. They can also use their hind legs to deliver a powerful kick if necessary. Additionally, quokkas have a special adaptation in their jaw that allows them to survive in their arid habitat by extracting more nutrients from tough, fibrous vegetation.
