Hello,
It really depends, but please do look at the price again. I suggest android. The I-phone costs around 1.5 lakh rupees, this is probably more than a month's rent, more than a scooter, and a tata Nano. A good high end laptop comes on the market for 80,000- I have a good one with touch screen, titanium casing, and 360 degree rotation laptop for that price. Also, as soon as the new I-phone comes out in about an year, your old phone will become useless- as you shall not be able to update it, including installing crucial safety and anti-virus updates. You shall then be forced into buying the new I-phone, which shall be even costlier than the previous one. Additionally, Apple is well known for the bad quality of their chargers, they always break and fray, causing you to keep on buying new ones.
On the other hand, you can buy a good long-lasting Android phone with excellent battery life for a fraction of the cost, (I have been running a good phone for about 15-20,000 for a number of years.)
Thus, I would always suggest Android. Your life can run smoothly with a 10-20k phone for a number of years, don't waste your hard earned money.
