It needs some service boss. Take it to your mechanic and all will be well. Something may be the problem or you might have equipped it with a speed governor. If you accelerate it will automatically go bonko.

It would be best to take it to the shop and have it serviced. If you're still experiencing the same thing, have them check if there is something wrong with the accelerator.

There are a few reasons why your car might bog down when you accelerate. If you are new to the car- or if you are using new or lightly used cars- you may be starting the engine too soon. You may also have not applied the gas pedal all the way down when you need to in order to slow the car. If your car is bogging down when you accelerate, you may need to add more gas to the car.

When a car bogs down or experiences a lack of power when accelerating, it can be due to several factors. Here are some common reasons for this issue:

1. **Clogged Air Filter**: A dirty or clogged air filter can restrict the flow of air to the engine, leading to poor combustion and reduced power during acceleration.

2. **Fuel Delivery Problems**: Issues with the fuel system, such as a clogged fuel filter, failing fuel pump, or a malfunctioning fuel injector, can result in inadequate fuel supply to the engine, causing bogging down.

3. **Ignition System Issues**: Problems with the ignition system, like worn spark plugs, damaged ignition coils, or faulty spark plug wires, can lead to misfires during acceleration, reducing power.

4. **Exhaust Restrictions**: A clogged catalytic converter or exhaust system can impede the flow of exhaust gases, resulting in poor engine performance.

5. **Vacuum Leaks**: Leaks in the vacuum lines or intake manifold can disrupt the air/fuel mixture, affecting acceleration and power.

6. **Throttle Issues**: Malfunctions in the throttle body or the throttle position sensor can lead to an unresponsive accelerator pedal and bogging down.

7. **Transmission Problems**: Issues with the transmission, such as slipping gears, a worn-out clutch (in manual transmissions), or a failing torque converter (in automatic transmissions), can cause power loss during acceleration.

8. **Overheating**: If the engine is overheating, it may go into a "limp mode" to protect itself, limiting power output.

9. **Engine Timing Problems**: Incorrect ignition timing or valve timing can result in poor acceleration and reduced power.

10. **Excessive Weight or Load**: Carrying a heavy load or towing a trailer can strain the engine and cause it to bog down when accelerating.

11. **Faulty Sensors**: Malfunctioning sensors, such as the mass airflow sensor or oxygen sensor, can disrupt the engine's ability to adjust fuel and air ratios correctly.

12. **ECU (Engine Control Unit) Issues**: Problems with the vehicle's computer, which controls various engine functions, can lead to power loss during acceleration.

If your car is bogging down during acceleration, it's crucial to have it inspected by a qualified mechanic. They can perform diagnostic tests to identify the specific issue and recommend the necessary repairs to restore your car's performance.
