Waste disposal refers to the final step of getting rid of waste, such as landfilling or incineration. Waste management includes all steps from collection, transportation, sorting, recycling, treatment, and disposal in an environmentally sustainable manner.

Waste management is collection, transportaion and reuse or recyle the waste whereas Waste disposal is simply to dispose off the waste somewhere.

The difference between waste disposal and waste management is that waste disposal includes 4 certain steps excluding recycling. Waste management includes loading, transporting, disposing and recycling. However, back in the day, recycling was not a part of the process in waste disposal.
