The growing age of puppies can vary from dog to dog depending upon various factors such as size, breed, socialization, environment, food habits, etc. In general, puppies are considered dogs between one to two years of age.

I also think so. During the period of 1 to 2 years, it is the period when the puppies are still growing into adults.

If I had to guess correctly I am going to have to say that the age that I would think that a puppy would be considered a adult is 1 year old

I think we can put the answer this way. I also assumed that once a puppy turned 1 year old, he or she will stop growing.

Really? I read some facts that a dog is considered 15 years old once reaching one year old. It is a human's life compared to an adult dog. How much more if they are 4 or 5 years old.

You can consider it to be an adult when it turns out to be 2 years old. Puppy is lovely, isn't it? A puppy isn't like a human to become an adult as and when it realizes problems.

I guess it could be considered an adult if it stops growing at the age of 2, right?

Yesterday, I brought our 3-month-old puppy to the local veterinary facility in my city. I asked about this concern and the doctor animal claimed that it will be tagged as an adult dog when it stops to grow.

Although all puppies are officially considered adult dogs once they reach one year old, puppies continue to grow in height and size while their bones are still developing, which takes anywhere from 6 to 24 months. Their skeletal growth is what determines how tall they will become as adults.

Most puppies reach full physical maturity by the time they are between one and two years old. However, puppies can take up to three years to reach full mental maturity. Your two-month-old puppy will likely reach full physical maturity by the time it is between one and two years old, but it may take up to three years for it to reach full mental maturity.
