Why are red bras invisible under white shirts?

Red bras are not completely invisible under white shirts, but they can be less visible compared to other colored bras. This is because red is opposite to green on the color wheel, and when light passes through the red bra fabric, it absorbs some of the green light and reflects back the red light. Since white light contains all colors, including green, the green light that is absorbed by the red bra is not reflected back and does not reach the eye, making the red bra less visible under a white shirt.

Additionally, the opacity and thickness of the fabric of the bra and the shirt can also affect how visible the bra is. A thicker and more opaque fabric may conceal the color of the bra better than a thinner and more transparent fabric. The fit and style of the bra and shirt can also play a role, as a well-fitted and supportive bra can help to smooth out any lines or bumps that might make the bra more visible under the shirt

They are invisible under white shirts because white shirts have no color whatsoever and if a shirt was the same color it would blend in with the shirts color

The main reason is that the shade color red absorbs light that can blend with the skin tone. I am sure women can relate more to it.

A red bra won't be visible under a white shirt because the skin has red undertones that makes the red bra blends well with the white shirt making it invisible.

Red bras can be less noticeable than other colored bras under white shirts, yet they are not entirely invisible. The primary cause is that red absorbs light, which can meld with skin tones. Women will probably be able to relate to it more, I'm sure.

Skin has red undertones, so red bras often blend fairly well under a white shirt,” Adrienne Coleon Gaskell of the French lingerie house Simone Perele tells Bare Necessities.

Red bras are often invisible under white shirts because the color of the bra is similar to the color of the shirt. The contrast between the two colors is not strong enough for the bra to be visible, so it appears to be invisible.
