Obese is the weight of a person that is so huge that the person is really heavy and cannot afford to walk or has difficulty walking. Usually this kind of person has many illnesses they weigh around 200 lbs up. It will take many months before they can lose weight. The overweight persons are those people who just gained weight from their previous normal weight which can be from 1 to 50 lbs.

Overweight and obese both refer to an excess of body weight, but obesity is a more severe form of overweight, characterized by excessive body fat.
