I think the role of the mother in law is to guide where necessary or when asked by the daughter and son in law. Mothers in law should not interfere with the relationship of their children instead should guide when there is a challenge. I do understand that most problems in marriages are caused by mothers in law but i think we should be open to them and tell them this is causing break in the relationship. we should respect our elders as always.
